Privacy Policy

1. Our Architecture & Core Promise

CoThinker Keyboard (developed by ThinkVelocity Inc.) is built from the ground up on privacy-by-design principles. We believe an input method is an intimate personal interface, and your personal communications, draft thoughts, and spoken instructions must remain strictly confidential.

This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled within the CoThinker Android Keyboard application (`ai.cothinker.keyboard`).

2. Android Input Method (IME) & Keystroke Safety

• Zero Keystroke Recording: We do not log, record, or transmit what you type in standard keyboard mode.
• Sensitive Input Exclusion: Password fields, two-factor authentication PINs, and secure payment inputs automatically bypass all AI buffers and predictive caching.
• Explicit Intent Only: Text is only sent for AI transformation when you explicitly highlight text and select “Enhance” or “Scribe”.

3. Voice Capture & Speech Recognition

• Push-to-Talk Activation: The microphone is only opened when you physically press the voice trigger on the keyboard. Releasing the button instantly stops recording.
• Ephemeral Processing: Audio streams used for advanced Scribe rewrites are transmitted over encrypted TLS 1.3 connections, processed directly in memory, and immediately discarded upon text generation.
• No Audio Archiving: Your voice recordings are never archived, retained, or used to build public voice recognition profiles.

4. AI Inference & Non-Retention Guarantee

When using AI Enhance, Scribe, and Tone Shifts:

• Your text is processed under strict zero-data-retention enterprise API terms.
• Your draft messages, ideas, and emails are never used to train public foundation models.
• All communications between the Android keyboard and our inference gateway are protected with TLS 1.3 encryption.

5. Account Information & Subscriptions

When you sign in to sync your Pro subscription across devices:

• Profile Data: We store your Google email address, display name, user ID, and active subscription status.
• In-App Purchases: All billing is processed directly by Google Play. We never handle or store payment card numbers.

6. Data Deletion & User Rights

You maintain complete ownership of your account data. You may request account deletion or data removal at any time directly through the app settings or by contacting privacy@thinkvelocity.ai. All account profile records are permanently purged upon request.
